We have to major categories of Competitions, we have multiple event competitions and Squares.
Squares Competitions are for football games and take place over a grid of numbers representing the last digit in the score for both the Home and Away teams. Users can bid on squares and there are payouts at the end of each quarter. Check out the Auction Squares Rules to learn more.
Multiple Event Competitions
A multiple event competition allows users to compete against each other over multiple events for their share of a pot.
With multiple event competition, the creator first selects which games to include, after that they
can choose between Pick-Em and Wager.
Pick-em competitions are straight forward, the more correct picks, the higher up the leaderboard you go, regardless of the odds.
Wagers competitions take into account the odds and reward players for picking correct positions with higher payouts. In a Wager competition, each player is given a balance of 1000. You can distribute your balance however and whenever you want across the games that have been chosen. When picking in a wager competition, you get to choose the amount you place on each pick and the payout is determined by the odds. So there is a lot more strategy than Pick-ems.
The creator also defines different types of payouts.
